"Mark makes some of the best Strat pickups I've played! These things scream with tone. My old strat has never been happier. Texas blues heaven!"
"Wow! These pickups are really something. So clear, clean, punchy, you can hear the oomph when you touch the strings.
Hard to pick a favorite position, all five sound wonderful and the bridge doesn't make you want to turn the treble back on your amp. I love them, best I've heard."

"The Pick-ups that Mark Webber custom wound for my guitar converted a virtually toneless axe (ESP-Vintage Plus) into a beautiful sounding Tele-style guitar. The original pick-ups were SD's and just did not come up to the standards of the guitar itself, which is a well crafted, well constructed Tele guitar with an incredibly fine rosewood neck. It had no usable tone (for me at least), so I asked Mark if he could help me with a set of his custom Tele type pick-ups, and now this guitar will be played a lot! Thanks, Mark, for all your help."
"First of all, you got these pickups tuned in so nice. Mark has made me a set of Vintage Tele pickups and let me tell you, these pickups got the tone. All three positions work real nice for me, they make my Tele rock. Thanks Mark."

Let's face it. The tone is in your hands. Great pick-ups, guitars, and amps are just the enablers. But, it helps to have great gear. Some people get it. Some don't. I think Mark gets it. He really has the vintage style strat thing down. I have a custom wound set in the +6.2 range that are in between the vintage and texas set. They sound and even look like my original late 50's pick-ups that I have played forever. (Minus the sweat, grime, beer, etc.) I've A/B'd them back and forth and decided that I like 'em. I like 'em a lot. Thanks Mark....... more to come later on the hot HWJ set.

"Tone is the key word when hearing Webber's P.A.F. Humbucker. The kind of tone that oozes down your fingers and into your brain. After installing my pickups there was no doubt I had come out of the dark ages. Keeping the craftsmanship of the old world to deliver pickups with personality that anyone could identify with. Mark's Humbuckers have all the clarity and punch of a Telecaster bridge with all the round full midrange of a P.A.F., it really is a hybrid of the coolest vintage pickups. I am just glad I was able to get one of these tone beasts before Mark is in his mansion on the hill, because there is no doubt he will be once the word gets out. Well, enough chatter, I have to go buy more pickups!"

"Stunning sound. The Difference in Mark's pickups were like night and day from my stock pickups. Bigger, Fuller, Fatter and just plain better than any pickups I have ever heard. Great job Mark. I'm hooked for life!"

"Mark Webber's custom pickups were of exceptional caliber. They installed easily, and the tone quality was stellar. These Texas Tele hand wound pickups are the best single coils I've ever played. Perfectly balanced pickups with a bite."

"I have a great little 90's MIM Telecaster that sounded great acoustically, however, the stock Fender PUP's were awful once plugged into my Blues Jr., or my M-Audio mixing console. I knew with the right set of pickups, this little guy could be the Fender that "could!" I did some research on pickup makers via their sound bites and other YouTube videos, etc and was not real happy with most of what was out there. I had heard the local word about Mark Webber's custom pickups and decided to call Mark and give him some specs for what I was looking for. I wanted some vintage low resistance Tele pickups that had the right twang, yet the right presence for just about any other style of music I like to play (Indy/Alt Rock, Chicken Pickin, Blues, etc). Once I got them installed, I was floored by the sound. All three positions rained out a beautiful old Tele tone ! The pickups brought the wood to life and it became the Tele that Could ! I have another favorite G&L Legacy I'm eyeballing some vintage Strat sets for my next retro-fit and will no doubt call Mark for any Jazz/ P-bass winds I might need in the future as well."
"I simply love these pickups !"

"I have got to say... the custom Tele Pickups that Mark made are beyond the the best single coils I have ever played and will continue to use. If you are a Fender player or have a favorite ax, you will not believe the improvement of the lost art of hand wound and as done so well as Mark can produce. Gain without sacrificing the tone is the magic. The refurbished Strat that is coming to me soon will also get the Webber single coil treatment. My thanks to Mark...

These pickups added a lot of punch, color, and warmth to this guitar, the original pickups were thin and bright and now this guitar sounds full. The guitar still sounds like a 1976 Strat but with way more presence and mid range especially in the middle and bridge positions and that I like. Wound by Charlene to 62 Strat specs. Great pickups and great people!!!
